Holmes blogs: "Firstly, Thank you to everyone that has, and is checking out They Only Want. I’m flattered by the response, and I’m all warm and fuzzy inside. I’m letting the pickRset voting go another few weeks, and then I’ll fill everybody in on what they voted on! I like confusing people. Sorry. On a different note. I’ve been ears deep with my friend (the bass player from that band with the numbers...rhymes with Dark Foppus) working on a record for a band called Koopa. We just finished tracking, and mixing is going to start this week. Also, for the kids that like the heavier stuff...please check out Opiate for the Masses. They are super-duper-radical...and that’s not an oversell...they have a new record coming out, and it kicks ass..and even more importantly, go see these peeps. They have some opening spots for Filter, who I love..remind me to tell you a story about those guys...and a zillion other tour dates coming up in the near future. Mark blogs: "all time low covered dammit, and at the end of the song, jack did a stage dive and this is the result. yikes. get well soon. that song cost me my voice for three weeks after recording it, and now also cost jack the use of his nose. still one of my favorite songs. it’s time to play that song again." "hey i just wanted to post about a benefit show myself and a bunch of artists played in on the 15th at the troubador in l.a. tom morello from r.a.t.m. put together the show to help out organizations like amnesty international and road recovery for youths. slash, stuart copeland, dave navarro, steve vai, davey havok, and tons of other artists and bands played and it turned out to be an amazing event. axis of justice will be touring so check out the Axis of Justice website here. heres a video of one of the songs i played on, a cover of fire woman"

This is what you would usually find in the album liner notes, but I felt it was better to post it so everybody could check it out.

If you go to www.amazon.com and type in “They Only Want” in the search field, you will find preview clips of ALL 10 tracks on Sub-Rosa.

I was going to wait until the album release day, but I guess I’ll let the cat out of the bag...or spill the beans...or let the beans out of the bag....

The record will be out on Amazon, and on ALL iTunes worldwide on the 8th, as well as being available on www.theyonlywant.com.

If you’re really on your game and paying super-close attention, you will find Sub-Rosa on the FRONT page of iTunes on the 8th...it’ll be there...I know people who know people..that’s all I’m sayin..

So, say you’re traveling on the 8th...and you’re in Japan...and you just can’t wait to get back home to buy the record...iTunes Japan my friend...it will be there....Australia..no problem..it’ll be there..

Theyonlywant A SubRosa Preview Page

There is an offical Sub-Rosa preview page up at the moment. If you feel overwhelmed, confused,...sweaty maybe...this page is for you.
For all of you that say...”what does this band sound like”...you have preview clips of tracks off the record that will answer your questions, and hopefully confirm that there is some cool shit about to go down.
You might find yourself asking, “who/what is this band?”..
Well, the “band” is me...and by me I mean me.
For this particular record I wrote/played/programmed/sang/recorded everything..I’m not bragging, I’m just saying.
For those of you who have been stopping by for awhile you will note that the visuals page is gone...sad, but true. In an effort to streamline the site for 04.08.08 it had to be tabled for now.

Lastly, at this point I should have had a pre-order page up so you could get the record early..but as you can see...not so much. Technology and I had a fight...and I didn’t win....yet...but I will...but it might not be before the 8th.
Rest assured, the next record will have a pre-order, and it will kick ass.
